While working on the fuel injectors of a 240D this week, Kent finally decided he had had enough. After 20 years of fighting those fuel injector return hoses he decided he just had to come up with a tool to make the job easier.
FITS THE FOLLOWING: ALL 123 and 126 chassis 240D, 300D, 300TD, 300CD, and 300SD 1980 to 1985 with later style vacuum pump (only one line coming out of top). In 1980, Mercedes changed the design of its diesel vacuum pumps.
We love doing oil changes on these engines. The oil filter housing is right in the front of the engine with NO obstruction. The engineers were finally thinking about us!
