Hello,
I have a 1988 MB 190D (W201) in great condition that I am planning to convert to biodiesel. From all I can gather, it appears that I will need to replace all of the fuel lines with viton (or another non-rubber) type hoses and probably also need to replace the fuel filter before long. Does anyone have other suggestions for replacements/modifications that you would recommend when making this switch?
Thanks!

Always remember that biodiesel is also a solvent for many substances this being the main reason to change your fuel hoses. What this means is that it will dissolve many sediments, filth, some oxides, accumulated all the way from your tank to your injectors. This translates into filters being clogged very fast initially. It is kind of like a laxative in your body, it cleans the pipes. You should pay much attention to your filters and assume that the regular lifespans will be shortened until all the "pipes" are clean. Petro-diesel is dirty and believe me there is much stuff accumulated inside. Good luck.
