114 115 116 123 Rubberized Fiber Seat Pad Replacement

Are you tired of sitting on a seat that has no padding left? Are you tired of hearing that crunching sound every time you get in the car? Maybe you are just tired of vacuuming up the "shredded wheat" under the seat all the time. Funny chemical type smells inside an older Mercedes can almost always be attributed to the old deteriorating seat pads. I can't think of how many older Benz from the 70's that I have worked on where that bad smell went away buy just changing the seats!

This is an aftermarket pad but looks and feels every bit as good as the original and certainly a lot better than one that is over 10 years old. It is made of rubberized fiber strands and fits all 114, 115, 116 and early 123 to 1980. The quality is excellent. This is one front seat lower pad that can fit the right or left side. Some models with leather upholstery had additional padding in the form of a 6 inch wide foam strip on both sides to give the extra contour for the leather upholstery. In most cases you can peel of that foam from your old pad and reuse it. If it is totally gone you may have to go to an upholstery store to get some thin strips of foam.
