DTC CWX Dual Tank Upgrade Kit - Upgrades your DTC 100 to a 200 Series Conversion

INTRODUCTION: Our DTC (Dual Tank Conversion) upgrade for CWX (cold weather climates) is your best solution if you want an all weather conversion that can extend full SVO operations in weather at or below freezing. It takes our basic DTC 100 short kit and upgrades it will a coolant heated fuel path and coolant heated fuel sump. YOU MUST purchase this along with the DTC 100 to make it. This addition will give you the full features of what we call in our publications the DTC 200.

INTRODUCTION: For those of you who want dual tank operations for cold weather driving we offer the DTC CWX (Dual Tank Conversion) upgrade for any one purchasing the DTC 100 short kit. This will allow hot engine coolant to be routed (bundled with fuel hose) to the back end of the system providing constant heat to the sump as well as a heated fuel path for the fuel coming from the tank to the engine. It is this heated fuel path that really gives you the cold weather capability. Imagine how cold that fuel line gets when you are driving down the freeway at 70 mph and it is 25 degrees outside!

ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED: This is a builders kit and requires assembly on your part. The copper coil must be assembled on the DTC sump heater before you screw and seal it together. It should be installed at the same time as the DTC 100. If installed later it will require you to remove and take apart the trunk mount sump heater to install the copper coil.

This SHORT kit comes with the following items needed to covert your DTC 100 to a 200 series.

• Coolant copper cool heater for Fuel Sump Heat Heater (wraps around outside of fuel sump)
• 2 3/8 inch nipple fittings for coil heater
  
• 40 feet of 3/8 hose for coolant for the bundled heated fuel path
  
• 25 feet of insulation wrap for the hose and wire bundle (routes under car)
• 2 nylon T fittings to connect the coolant hose lengths to your existing heater hoses
• 8 quality European hose clamps

PLEASE NOTE: NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED with these componets. Full instructions for this upgrade are included with the DTC 100 kit

Also recommended from us but not included: Copper coil heater for main SVO fuel filter. As mentioned previously we do not automatically include this in the DTC 200 kit as some many already have this upgrade (comes standard on the STC 2000). CLICK HERE to add to your order.

Here is a picture of how the sumper heater with coolant upgrade is mounted in the spare tire well on sedans and coupes. On wagons a CUSTOM ALUMINUM PLATE is available from us-pre built so you can mount the fuel sump heater just forward and at the oulet level of your wagons factory fuel tank.
