123 240D 300D 300CD Sedan Coupe Rear Bumper Complete Used

This bumper is off an early 123 sedan. It will fit all sedans and coupes from 1977 to 1985. The early bumpers are much better than the later ones. They have stronger shock bracket attach points and they don't have that troublesome plastic strip that holds the rubber face in place. If you have a later 1982 to 1985 model you know what I am talking about. Those plastic holding clips break and you have to end up taping or gluing the rubber face strip.

This bumper is in good used condition. It is not perfect. No major corrossion on the chrome. No big dents or gouges. Chrome is good with the exception of some marking and fading along the edge where the rubber flap sit on the top of the bumper. Shocks and attach points are in good condition.

SPECIAL NOTE TO WAGON OWNERS: This bumper will also fit on the back of the 300TD wagon. It does not have the cut-outs for the back- up lights but the bumper and mounts are the same. Wagon bumpers are hard to find. You can make your own cutouts - or like we have done - add aftermarket fog lights to the bottom of the bumper (small ones) to provide you with super bright back up lights.
