300D 1975 to 1979 Series Glow Plug Set (5) Monark

FITS THE FOLLOWING: 115, and 123 chassis, 1975 to 1979 5 cylinder non-turbo diesel engines with series (looped style) glow plugs installed. WARNING: Be sure to check that your glow plugs have not been changed to the parallel (pencil)fast glow type.

Glow plugs do not last forever. I have found they generally need to be replaced about every 2 to 3 years for peak performance. If your diesel starts hard when cold, or starts but runs rough for 30 to 60 seconds before smoothing out, or the glow dash light flashes right after startup, then it may be time to replace the glow plugs. They should be replaced in sets unless you have the odd failure of just one fairly new plug.
