This shim kit is for those who want a large assortment of every possible combination at their fingertips. It is not easy to find such a complete kit. I personally looked so long to find a good source that I finally gave up and am now importing this high quality master mechanic shim kit directly from Germany. Each shim is extremely accurate in thickness. The shim washers are 11.5 mm in diameter and will work on all Mercedes passenger car diesels from 1958 to 1993.

With the right bench mount pump tester, cleaning tools and shims you can adjust the pressure yourself. Some may say that this is not a DIY job and should be left to a diesel service shop. I strongly disagree. If you can adjust your valves or change a water pump and belts you can rebuild your own injectors! I will guarantee you will love the case too! There are 24 small dividers inside the larger case that hold the individual size shims. This is much more convenient that trying to store them in plastic bags. Must easier to handle various sizes and saves time when making multiple adjustments.
