I have an 84 300sd which I can't do anything to settle down the shaky engine during the rough idle. I ran 3 cans of diesel purge and that seemed to help while running Diesel Purge, but when back on WVO or diesel, the engine starts shaking. Is time to clean the injectors? What am I missing?
Air, fuel filters are new. Valve adjustment done. What next?
Thanks!

84 300D Vaccuum line question
I have recently purchased an 84 300D, 110K excellent condition, always garaged. There is a small diameter black vaccuum hose comming thru the firewall in the center of the vaccuum cluster, under the steering column it is not attatched to anything, is it supposed to be? I was looking at a diagram, and it shows there is a vaccuum hose that does not connect to anything, is this true?
vac line
