Next to the center rubber differiential mount this is the number 2 reason for rear end sag. It is also a primary cause of rear end wander and adverse tire wear. For optimum performance and handling rubber suspension parts on these old Benz must replaced after 18 - 20 years.

PLEASE CAREFULLY NOTE MODELS LISTED ABOVE:  These do not work on the 1975 to 1976 300D. That is now a dealer only part so you will need to contact a Mercedes dealer.

Rear subframe mounts can be replaced without removing the entire rear end if you do one side at a time. There are a few tricks to make the job go smoothly.  Pictorial instructions are included. We recommend you replace the CENTER DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT and the SWAY BAR drag links at the same time.
