Greetings, forum! I am suspicious that due to the sketchy popping sounds it's been making that my 1992 300D's headlight switch is shorting out. Is the R&R on that headlight switch easy or difficult? I'm guessing it's all about the access, and whether you can just go in and pull it from the front or if it's one of those nightmare Benz dash scenarios where you have to remove the dashpad just to get in there or some nonsense like that... (And if the process is in fact on the easy side, feel free to let loose with some tips on the actual R&R steps, ha ha.) Thanks for any and all input, everyone!
Easy once you get the covers off
Drew, Remove the face place and the under dash panel and it will become obvious what you have to do. I have a good used switch in a 1991 124 if you need one. I could take a couple pictures when I remove it.. Kent
