Early Diesel Vacuum Pump Repair Kit

FITS THE FOLLOWING 115 and 123 Chassis 1969 - 1979 220D 240D 300D only. (Some early 1980 models with 2 vac lines coming out of pump only).

I am seeing lots of vacuum pump problems with the older diesels. They are reaching that age regardless of mileage where the pumps are failing right and left. The rubber diaphragms crack and tear and the check valves wear out. If you haven't had to replace yours yet you might want to beat it to the failure line. Take the main black vacuum line off and look to see if there is black oil in it. That means it is starting to leak and will eventually fail.

Now the reason most owners do not replace it as a preventative measure is the cost. Dealer cost on a new vacuum pump is $444.00! At that price I would wait until it failed too! I have a way to beat the system but it takes a little elbow grease. I can provide you with a complete overhaul kit so you can rebuild the unit at less than 10 percent of a new replacement. And this is an easy job too!!

Our customer AJ recently emailed us this DIY success story on October 22nd.

"Thank you so much for making it easy and inexpensive to maintain my old
Benz. I searched many other suppliers for a 1979 300D vacuum pump rebuild
kit, only to find the wrong ones for too much money. One search on your
site and I found EXACTLY what I needed at a great price! You have another
loyal customer and I will refer all my Benz friends to your wonderful
business. Keep up the good work and thanks again."

The kit includes a new diaphragm, new set of check valves and a brand new gasket to install the pump. These are all high quality German OE parts. Fix it now before it leaves you stranded. When it fails your brakes will not be safe, your engine will not shut off, your transmission wont shift, and the heater and door locks will go wacky. Comes with INSTRUCTIONS on how to remove it from the engine and rebuild it.
