Used Parts 116 Chassis

Fits all 5 cylinder turbo diesels from 1978 to 1985. Believe it or not these do go bad! If you live in the rust belt (ie salted roads) the lower alternator mounting bolt can actually seize in this bracket. When that happens the only way you will be able to remove your alternator is by cutting the bolt with a saws all and metal blade. Then you will need a replacement bracket like this.

Good working used rear brake calipers (right and left side). Hardware and old pads included, but recommend new pads. Brake lines have been cut. Fit all 116, 123, and 126 chassis Mercedes from 1973 to 1991.

Twin belt alternator pulley in good used condition. If yours is bent this is an opportunity to get a replacement for a resonable price. I only have one of these available. Fits all 5 cylinder turbo models 300D 300CD 300TD and 300SD from 1978 to 1985.

Good used battery tray for 116 chassis sedans. Fits all models 1977 to 1980. Repainted - had some surface rust but no rust out holes, etc.

Good used filter assembly and all lines as shown. Note: The rubber cigar hose may or may not be the right length depening on your chassis. So even though included it may not work. All the plastic hard lines are the same and in good condtioin. Fits 1978 to 1985 300SD and 1977 to 1985 300D, 300TD and 300CD.

Note: If you have a pesky leak at the fitler it may be due to a deformed housing or damaged fittings.

Here is a good solution to your beat up hubcaps. These fit on any standard 14 inch Mercedes steel wheel and they look pretty good from 10 to 20 feet away. They are one piece aftermarket plastic hubcaps that are painted silver. All four are in good used condition but may need to be repainted to be show quality.

Good used set of 5 intake valves and 5 exhaust valves for all 5 cylinder turbo diesels from 1978 to 1985. Comes with vavle springs, valve spring caps, and adjusting nuts as shown. Will need to be resurfaced before installation of course.

Good used 5 cylinder turbo diesel flywheel. Fits all 1978 to 1985 turbo models. Come with good flex plate and flywheel mounting bolts.

Fits 116 123 126 4 and 5 cylinder non turbo and turbo engines 1977 to 1985. Good used set of five special factory stretch bolts that hold the rocker arm towers to the cylinder head. Common damaged item and hard to find new. The 5 bolts here will work with 5 cylinder engines. If you have a 4 cylinder you will just end up with one extra bolt.

Good used original Mercedes Benz first aid kit with hard plastic case. These were common in the '70's and early '80's. This kit came in a variety of models for 116, 123's and early 80's 126 sedans. If is full of first aid stuff but lease note that I am not sure if the kit is complete and of course the items are out of date, so it is for cosmetic purpose only.

Good complete set of star head silver bolts for 617 5 cylinder turbo diesel engines from 1978-1985.

Excellent used set of plastic silver after market hub caps that appear very similar to the original factory alloy wheels. If you have standard steel wheels with the common Mercedes Benz hub caps and you desire to replace them with the alloy look, these don't look too bad when standing away from the car! These four are in good condition with no bad curb scrapes or cracks in the caps. 

Good used original lug wrench, fits most late '70's, early '80's Mercedes. Please note that the wrench is in good condition, but the chrome finish is not perfect. There may be a few spots of rust or corrosion on the plating itself.

Good used wiper motor and wiper motor arm assembly. Fits all 116 chassis sedans from 1973-1980. This is an excellent used part with good post pushings and good working motor.

Good used interior black plastic lock knob, common on most models in the 1970's and 1980's. This has good plastic and good threads. Sold as a single unit, if you need more, just change the quantity at checkout.

Good used front crank bolt and 3 spring washers. 

Excellent used set of torque converter bolts with correct washers included. These bolts are critical and I often see them replaced with improper bolts. There are six that are required to hold the flex plate to the torque converter on all Mercedes diesel engines from 1969-1985.

Good used battery tray for 116 chassis. This one had slight service rust and has been painted. Same very small rust holes.

Excellent used delivery valve (not scored) for top of 5 cyl 617 injection pump. Includes threaded housing, spring, valve body, and valve. A bad delivery valve or valves can cause rough idle, smoke, poor power etc.

Fits 116, 123, AND 126 with 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine only. This is a common failure item. The plate can crack and the adjusting bolt often gets damaged beyond repair. Good USED crack free alternator mounting plate with good adjusting mechanism and bolt. The adjusting bolt is often damaged due to lack of understanding how to adjust belt tension.
