IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not sell replacement antenna masts by year and model. We have run across too many problems with confusion, interchangeability, and previously swapped antennas. We sell a SMOOTH TAIL mast and a TOOTHED TAIL mast. Smooth tails were used on most of the power Hirschmann antennas up to the early 80's and tooth tails were used on the later masts. For you to order the proper one you must partially remove your current mast and inspect. Is the white plastic tail more or less smooth or does it have teeth in it? The one describe here is the TOOTHED style.

This new shift knob fits all 4 speed diesel transmissions from 1969 to 1983. It is an aftermarket replacement that is made out of hard plastic rather than rubber, so it will not deteriorate like the original style. Good quality at a good price!

Please note: You only need to open the sunroof to change this seal. It can be a little tricky to get the new seal in the groove. No instructions included with this seal. It is intended for those who have already done the job. If you need instructions then I recommend you purchase our complete seal kit.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A PRODUCT, JUST INFORMATION WE WILL BE PROVIDING ON THE WEBSITE. STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION! This question could well be the number one request we receive from new customers. The question seems to be popping up frequently now as many people are buying these old diesels for the first time hoping to convert them to run on alternative fuel. It is a great idea and can be a rewarding endevour IF you find the right car to begin with and are willing and able to repair it yourself.
This removable thread locker is probably the best that I have used. It has the best sealing cap and cures rapidly and reliably when confined between metal parts. Use it to lock threaded fasteners, nuts, bolts and screws from loosening. Extremely important in critical engine and suspension parts. This is the removable type (meaning that it can be easily removed with hand tools). Comes in small .20 Fl oz. bottle great for most small jobs.
Excellent for all work around diesel engines to prevent vibration failure and breakdowns. If you need the red more permanent type CLICK HERE.
This permanent thread locker is probably the best that I have used. It has the best sealing cap and dries hard in 20 to 60 minutes. Use it to securely lock threaded fasteners, nuts, bolts and screws from loosening. Extremely important in critical engine and suspension parts. This is the permanent type (meaning that it is possible to remove only when applying heat to 450 degress F - with propane torch) or a very heavy breaker bar. I like to use this one on brake caliper bolts as it is such a critical bolt.
Excellent when retaining bearings and bearing races, freeze plugs, rocker arm and main bearing studs, etc. Can fill gaps up to .007 and assures positive controlled locking.
It comes with a nice moulded plastic case and instructions. This wrench is 18 inches long for good hand torque and it is made in Taiwan. Much better quality than those made in China.
When changing a front door seal on one of the above chassis you most likely will ending up need new attachments clips (along front edge of door). The majority of the old clips will break when you try to remove them. This set of 6 clips from Mercedes Benz are enough to do one front door. NOTE: Back door clips on all chassis except the 126 have different clips. These are sure to make installation go more smoothly.
If you need door seals call or email us. There are vin splits on some models that make it hard to list all. We have great prices on these new seals.
We also have full door seal replacement instructions with special tools. CLICK HERE to order.
Looking for a solution to solve your 114 115 116 123 or early 126 chassis power antenna problems? In my humble opinion the original power antennas on all 1985 and older Mercedes are justing getting too old to mess with anymore. I have tried myself to rebuild them only to have them fail again in another area. You can send them out for professional overhaul but that is expensive. Unless every electrical and mechanical part inside is replaced problems may return. New original exact replacements are no longer available.
New set of replacement black plastic left and right side intake air grills. These fit right below the wipers and will fit on all 123 chassis sedans, coupes and wagons from 1977 to 1985. Sorry no clips are included. You must use clips from your existing grills.
Factory fuel hose that goes from the fuel tank strainer to the metal feed pipe just above your rear axle. Fits all 116 diesel 300SD, and 123 240D 300D and 300CD and all 126 chassis diesels 300SD 300SDL 350SD/L. If you are noticing fuel wetness under your rear end it is usually this hose that is leaking. They get old and brittle and finally fail.
If you need a complete fuel hose replacement kit either in standard rubber or biodiesel spec hoses we also carry those. Just type description into search box on the right.
Not only does this set include almost 100 pieces but it includes metric sized allen (hex) bits and even an attachment to remove a wing nut! How cool is that? Most kits don't contain metric sizes. There are probably enough screwdriver bits in this kit to last you for a very long. Comes in nice molded red case.
Being locked out of your 123 trunk can be very frustrating, especially if you left the ignition keys inside when you closed the trunk lid! If you are locked out and still have your keys sometimes you may not be able to open the trunk due to a failed locking mechanism. And there is no way to get through the back seat to open it from inside either. In this short manual (Sourcelet) I will describe the tricks I have learned to get into a trunk that will not open....and do it fast! SKU: SCL-123ETL
Here is a great set of metric wrenches at a fantastic price that you can afford to cut, grind, heat and bend for all those instances where you need a specical wrench to get into a tight place. These are a black oxide finish so you won't have a problem with the chrome chipping or peeling off after modification. They are made in India and I have found they are a little tougher than the cheap sets coming out of China. Sizes range from 6 mm to 24 mm. The other nice thing about these wrenches is the open end heads are thinner than most other wrenches and will allow you to get onto narrower nuts. And if they are still too thick you can grind them thinner!!
Every tool box should have this set!
On Sale for the month of August! We are now offering a kit with 2 new complete tie rod assemblies and a tool to remove the old ones. Note: Plan to have a front end alignment check done after replacement. This can be done at any good tire or front end alignment shop. This is a very common wear item on older 123 chassis sedans coupes and wagons. Often if one is worn the other is not far behind, so we always recommend replacing them as a set.
Instructions included: Kit comes with a tip sheet of illustrated instructions on how to get the old ones off and the new ones adjusted and on your car.
Regular price is $ 74.50
New OEM and direct from Germany! This is the critical thick rubber seal located at your fuel tank outlet screen just above your right rear axle. More often than not this seal is badly deteriorated due to diesel fuel contamination and age. This seal prevents fumes, moisture and road debris from entering your trunk.
When cleaning or changing your fuel tank screen it would be a good time to replace this seal. You do not need to remove the fuel tank but you will need to remove the four anchor bolts (two on each side of tank) to allow lifting the tank enough to slide the seal in place. Silicone or Goop should be used between the tank and the upper lip of the seal to help hold in place. Next time you are under your 123 inspect this seal.
If you are into "shabby chic" then you'll love this hub cap! It's pretty shabby, with lots of curb scraping and dings. It will need some new paint as well. Did I mention all the clips are missing? Poor little hub cap! Something is better than nothing though, so if yours ran away, then you could replace it with this one for a great low price. Fits 1968 to 1985 108, 109, 107, 114, 115, 116, and 123 chassis all models.
This lovely cap needs a new home and a bit of love. It has some minor dings and scraping along its outer edge. The shine has come off of the paint in just a few places in the center near the Benz star and there are a few small rust spots to note as well. Not too bad though! 4 clips are included as well, just for you! Fits 1968 to 1985 108, 109, 107, 114, 115, 116, and 123 chassis all models.
