Now that all those old power steering pumps are leaking out the front seal we have come up with a kit that will allow you to replace the front seal of your pump at home without any special tools. This kit will work on all power steering pumps on 4 and 5 cylinder diesel engines from 1977 to 1985 (excluding the 190D 2.2).

This is the tool I love to use when troubleshooting engine operating temperature problems. You can stand back and aim the beam right on a spot on the radiator or engine to get an exact temperature reading. This can indicate whether or not your radiator is plugged and confirm if your temperature gauge is accurate or not.
If you are running SVO it can give you accurate readings of the temperature of your oil - both during filtering and coming out of your boost heater.

When was the last time you knocked one of your vacuum lines off around the oil filter housing, only to discover when you tried to reattached it that the fittings were swollen and would just not stay connected? This is a L shaped fitting that fits 115, 116, 123, and 126 chassis.

This size freeze plug fits almost all gas and diesel engines from the early 70s up into the 90s. This includes all 61x and 60x diesel engines, the 103 gas engine in the 190E, 300SE and 300E. It also fits many V8 engines but you should measure your current plug to be sure. This part measures 34 mm in diameter.
We are seeing more freeze plugs rust out from the inside as these engines age. First sign will be a little rust ring around the outside edge of the plug, next sign will be slight coolant loss, and last sign may be catasropic engine over heat. Check your freeze plugs for any sign of deterioration NOW.
Complete R134a retrofit kit as shown to convert your A/C system. Keep in mind this may not repair all problems with your current A/C system. This kit is designed to go into a good working system. There maybe other parts you will want to purchase such as receiver dryer, etc while doing this conversion. Consult with your local A/C specialist if you are unfamiliar with air conditoning systems.

This is one cool pre or final protection fuel filter. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Fuel Injector Pressure Bench Tester
Running badly means poor performance. It happens sooner or later to EVERY diesel owner. The word "performance" is often used to describe how well a diesel engine runs once started. The principles discussed will cover all Mercedes diesels from the mid 1950s to the mid 1990s. Throughout this manual I will use this word to discuss a number of common problems. How performance is rated can mean different things to different people. In the following pages I will relate diesel performance to the following four criteria:
• How much power does it produce?
• What kind of fuel economy does it deliver?
• How smooth does the engine run?
• How much does the engine smoke?
These thin shim washers can be added to an existing injector shim to meet the thickness required to increase release pressure. Buy using a thicker shim along with 1 to 3 thin shims you will be able to make a number of different thicknesses within the 0,20 mm range. This kit contains six each of thin 0,20 mm washers.

These are built in Mercedessources own shop to control quality and production demands. This bench mount tester will allow you to economically test the spray pattern and fine tune (balance) your fuel injectors at home. With the injector fitting included it will work on all Mercedes diesels from the early 1960's up to 1993. It will also work on any mechanical Bosch type fuel injector with adjustable pressure release function - altough you may have to come up with your own adapter to attach the injector to the tester. This is one cleverly designed tool. Could not have done it better myself. I actually use to make a couple different types before I found this one. If you have ever tried to remove a radiator hose corroded to an alumium housing you know what I am talking about and you will love this tool. Great when changing radiator hoses, especially the short hose. 8 inches in length.
