Some are just too smooth and slippery, while others just don't feel good in your hands. Then their are those who have real thick heads that make it hard to get on close quarter nuts and bolts (like Kobalt). The great thing about Mercedes is that these REAR rotors fit almost all their models from 1969 until 1991. This includes most but not all 108, 111, 113, 114, 115, 107, 116, 123 and 126 chassis built during those years. Will NOT fit 201 or 124 chassis. These rotors can be easily change by removing the rear calipers.

I have used a lot of different clamping tools over the years to prevent fluids from leaking out when removing coolant, fuel, or brake fluid hoses. Most work ok. Some are hard to use in tight places.  Many do not stop every last drip from coming out of the hose. Imagine my excitement a couple years ago when I saw a clamping tool combined with a vise grip like mechanism.  I immediate thought - not that is a tool and a half!  Sure enough after using it it has proven to be the best I have ever used.  And yes, it will stop every drip.... to is super easy to get into tight places and easily clamp and unclamp. This tool will greatly ease installation of new emergency brake shoes by helping to install the bottom spring that holds the two shoes together. It will not work to replace the side springs that help hold the shoe in tight to the backing plate. For that operation you need a different tool. CLICK HERE to view. There are other brands of brake pad anti-squeal paste on the market, but for me the factory Mercedes paste has proven to be the most effective. It simply stays in place and holds up better over the long haul.

Included are two packets of paste. It is recommended you have one packet per brake. If you are doing either front or rear brakes then two packets are more than enough. If you are doing all four brakes you should have 4 packets (especially if your brakes use metal anti squeal shims between the pad and the caliper piston typical on the older models).

Just install Speedbleeder valves on your calipers, attach a clear hose and place in bottle. Just open bleeder screw and start pumping. No need to close the valve when you release the pedal. This is a fantastic tool if you are looking for an inexpensive way to flush or bleed your brake system by yourself. You can use it to do a gravity flush or a pump flush without allowing air to re-enter the system when you release the brake pedal. A small hose extension goes down into the bottom of the bottle. When filled with a small amount of brake fluid air can be pushed out into the container but not allowed back in.
