111/112 Coupe, Trim

Here is an inexpensive set of cleaning brushes that really get down in the crevices. The plastic one is good for exterior cleaning around the window and body trim. The brass is good for cleaning engine parts you don't want to scratech. The steel one is excellent if you are doing some rust repair.

If you plan to do much work on your Mercedes these metric wrenches and sockets are very desireable - if not a necessity. If you have wanted to add to your tool box but not spend a lot of money here is your chance. These are not Snap On quality wrenches but if you only work on cars ocassionally these are more than adequate to get the job done. Set includes metric crows feet, metric 3/8 inch drive hex (Allen) sockets, and metric 1/4 inch drive socket set 5 to 14 mm. These items are also available separately. Long drive pin punches are very handy when working on your Benz. The smaller size in this set is particularly helpful when removing and replacing twin pin style brake pads. All steel. Made in India.

Not only does this set include almost 100 pieces but it includes metric sized allen (hex) bits and even an attachment to remove a wing nut! How cool is that? Most kits don't contain metric sizes. There are probably enough screwdriver bits in this kit to last you for a very long. Comes in nice molded red case.

This is a very hard to find item and the base is not available new anymore. Only fits the low grill 111 coupe grill shells. Hood star is brand new OE. Base is original with very nice chrome. If you have a 111 3.5 you might want to get this for a spare in case someone tries to steal yours and damages it.

 

I have looked high and low for a good set of METRIC nut driver bits that I can use in an electric drill or magnetic screw driver - and have finally found them! Yea - what a great tool for working around Mercedes - especially if you have one of the new compact and light weight Lithium-Ion Rechargeable drills. Until recently I have not used rechargeable drills much when working on cars because the ones that had enough torque were always too heavy and bulky. Now we have the high torque and light weight of these new technology drills and I am now a convert. I use these bits in my new compact drill almost every day working on all kinds of Mercedes Benz. What a great combination and I highly recommend it to anyone who works on their own cars.

We picked up a set of these trim tools about two years ago and am constantly amazed at how often I use them - so much so I decided it was time we offered them to our customers. This 5 piece set is made out of plastic so it will not mar or scratch paint, glass, chrome trim, etc. You can use these to remove upholstery clips, body side trim, door panels, soft chrome window trim, rubber seals, interior panels and consoles. You can even use the one with the round hole to pull with when you don't have anything to pry against. We will even throw in a couple sets of gloves to keep your hands clean. You will love em...

Here is a rare find! The original 111/112 coupe & convertible wiper arms and blade holders, original with original chrome, in good condition. These are not all worn out like most you will find and they don't have black blade holders as often the original ones are lost along the way.

Good used passenger, left side, chrome tail light frame. This frame was re-chromed at some time and is still in very good condition. There is no pitting in the chrome and is very bright.

Near mint 111/112 chassis rear intake grill as shown.  This is an exceptional piece.  The chrome is super bright with no pitting.  If you are looking for that extra special used piece, then this is it!

These are right and left door glass upper chrome pieces.  These are in good used condition.  There is no major pitting in the chrome work, but there are scratches.  So please note that this is good used, but could not be classed as show quality.

Used chrome pieces, right and left that fit on the upper inside of the doors. These two pieces have the clips on the back side as shown that hold the upper rubber seal in place. Please note that you will need to determine the application for your particular coupe or convertible.

Excellent used chrome trim pieces that fit forward of the front edge of the door of the front door post.  These are the curved chromed pieces that hold the leather seals in place on the front door posts.  These two pieces were re-chromed at some point and the chrome is still in very good condition with no major pitting on the outside surfaces.

Excellent upper chrome plates for the rear door edges, right and left side.  These pieces have been re-chromed.  Please note that they are for the models that don't have the clip on the back side for the rubber.  There was a change in these plates in the mid-60's.  Please check to make sure that these are applicable for your particular coupe or convertible before ordering!  Most will interchange throughout the years, but keep in mind that these two pieces do not have the small clips on the backside to hold the rubber seals.

Excellent used chrome plates that mount on the rear edge of the two doors for all 111/112 coupes and convertibles. These are way above average! There is no pitting in any of the outer surface areas. There are some minor fine scratches, so they cannot be classed as perfect. If you are looking for some nice pieces for your coupe or convertible, then these will save you a lot of money over re-chroming! SKU: INP-111DRCP

Good used emblem that came on some of the late 60's 250SE and 280SE coupes and convertibles with automatic transmission in 1967-68.  You'll know if your coupe or convertible needs this automatic emblem because the trunk will be drilled accordingly right below the 250SE or 280SE emblem on the left side.

Can be successfully applied to all Mercedes Alloy (non chrome) Silver Wheels from 1970 to 1995. 108, 109, 107, 114, 115, 116, 123, 201, 126 and 124 chassis. Most of us have to admit that stained and peeling paint on Mercedes alloy wheels is ugly on any model. Your eye tends to go right to the wheels. Even if the rest of the car is nice, bad looking wheels certainly can make your car look dated.
