Mercedes 617 Turbo Diesel Air Cleaner Reinforced Bracket Installation Kit - SPECIAL!

Complete Kit as shown with installation tips included. These instructions and extras included will help to increase the life of your new bracket. Here is a complete list of everything included in the kit:

• New Meyle metal reinforcement bracket
• Special washer installed by Kent
• 3 new rubber mounts and air filter housing wing nut
• 6 self locking nuts for rubber mounts
• Hard foam pieces to reduce air fliter shake
• 4 zip ties
• Tube of thread locking compound

To test if yours is broken grab a hold of your air cleaner housing and pull up on it to see if it is loose from its mounts. If it is, you either have a broken rubber mount(s) or the metal rear most arm of the mounting bracket is broken. This is very common due to the excessive vibration of the big air cleaner.

This HD bracket made by Meyle is reinforced in the area where the original factory bracket is prone to cracking. This is a great solution to a very common problem. The brackets we are currently shipping are black in color.

 WARNING PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:  If you are having consistant problems with your bracket breaking it is usually due to one of three problems.

• 1. Excessive engine vibration due to bad motor mounts or out of tune engine ( unbalanced injectors, unbalanced compression, valves out of adjustment, etc)
• 2. Improper installation putting a load on the bracket. This can be improper alignment of the mount studs, not using locking nuts, or not tightening down properly
• 3. Rubber mounts breaking and not being replaced right away

This is the best replacement bracket we have found and if installed properly it should give you long life,  but due to the variables mentioned about we only offer a 6 month warranty against breakage.
