This heavy, specially made fiberglass mat has thick bias ply fiberglass cloth, and the mat is very stiff even before you add resin or Miracle Paint.  SOLD IN PRECUT PIECE 12" x 15". This is the VERY BEST cloth Kent has found for repairing large holes in flat surfaces like floorboards, trunk panels, or under fender panels, and it is very hard to find for a reasonable price!  It can easily bridge over big-diameter holes. It can bend one way, ok, so it can be used on slightly curved flat panels, but it can not bend over compound curves. When bonded properly, this stuff is as strong or stronger than light sheet metal.

PLEASE NOTE: Pieces have been precut. If you order multiple pieces, you will receive individual cut pieces. No custom cutting is available.

Do not try to use epoxy or polyester resin when repairing rusted areas.  It will not stick and will lift up over time and allow the rust to grow.  Only use Miracle Paint when bonding this fiberglass to automotive sheet metal.  For a complete listing of our Miracle Paint rust repair products, enter Rust Repair into the search box.
