I have a 1985 300d. The torsion bar end broke off at the control arm. It is a massive job to replace the whole thing, but I understand there is an end piece with bushings that can be welded on. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks
Yes, the part is a great alternative to replacing the entire sway bar and you will save a huge amount of money if you have a shop do the repair. Just make sure you have a very good welder to get proper penetration on the new part and into the old sway bar. Use our search feature to find the part quickly.
Yes we have the part here at Mercedessource
