Older Mercedes Diesel Engine Won't Shut Off? The Cause
After much prodding by his two sons (who just happen to be in the filming business), Kent decided to commit to producing a series of technical videos on troubleshooting and repairing older Mercedes. Each will run approximately 3 to 10 minutes in length and be related to a specific maintenance problem. His goal is to take some of the mystery out of solving many common mechanical problems while giving you the confidence to do-it-yourself! We hope you enjoy the results. Below to will find links to view all current videos or you can go directly to our YouTube channel.

All the filming will be done on an HDSLR camera. Talk about a marvel of modern technology! Here you see the rig he built in the shop to hold the camera steady. This unit functions as a shoulder mount, a monopod mount and quickly converts into a functioning table top tripod.

I also have a good filming crew helping me. They get into some weird positions sometimes trying to get the "perfect" shoot. The new LED light panels are superb when it comes to high light output and low heat. Note the use of wax paper to diffuse the light.... :-)

What could be better than a makeshift teleprompter? I am giving it a shot in the hopes we can reduce the number of retakes. You try talking into a camera and trying the remember what to say!

We would love to hear what you think. And PLEASE send along any subjects you would like to see in upcoming videos. Our goal is to shoot two new videos each week. We have chosen to call them TECH VIDS. Enjoy!
