WVO fuel pump necessary?

If using a trunk mounted wvo tank, is it necessary to have an auxillary fuel pump to get the oil to the engine compartment?

Sure would help.I use one

Although not necessary, I HIGHLY recommend it, and have found in ALL our conversions it is certainly worth installing. It is even more necessary if you live in a colder climate or drive one of the newer aluminum head (60x) diesels with a self priming lift pump. Quality of your vegetable oil, temperature, where and how to oil is heated, size of houses, size of tank outlet, size and quality of filter, condition of engine driven lift pump all play a part in how fuel is deliverd to your engine.

The main advantages of a rear mounted (pushing) pump are increased horse power, long usable filter life, and ease and speed of bleeding the fuel system after a filter change. My pump is designed to handle the heavier oil and will not over-pressurize your injection pump. It comes complete with all necessary hardware and brackets. On special this month. I would also recommend you purchase the SVO Advanced Theory and Operations Guide that will explain in more detail how all the components of your conversion should work together.
