Heat shrink tubing is very handing to have if you are doing any wire connections or splicing. This tubing can go over the splice or solder joint and when heat is applied from a heat gun it will shrink right down tight to the joint and protect it from shorts and corrosion.
Fits chassis 116 123 126 and 201 Diesels with PENCIL glow plugs, from 1978 to 1989. This little strip fuse is located in the Glow Plug Relay and can sometimes be the cause of your glow plug problems. Even if it appears to be good, we recommend that you physically remove it and inspect it for cracks or breaks before you replace the Relay! Sold in a 2 pack.

Cleaning out your glow plug holes from excess carbon (coke) can increase fuel economy and will extend the life of your glow plugs. This important regular maintenance procedure is commonly neglected and will lead to rough starts, smoke at startup, decreased fuel economy, and engine shake.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not sell replacement antenna masts by year and model. We have run across too many problems with confusion, interchangeability, and previously swapped antennas. We sell a SMOOTH TAIL mast and a TOOTH TAIL mast. Smooth tails were used on most of the power Hirschmann antennas up to the early 80's and tooth tails were used on the later masts. For you to order the proper one you must partially remove your current mast and inspect. Is the white plastic tail more or less smooth or does it have teeth in it? This relay provides the delay function on your wiper motor. If your wipers are not working in the first postition on you switch it may mean this relay is bad. It is located behind your instrument cluster up close to the firewall on all 123 chassis. On 126 300SD and 380SE it is located inside the fuse box. BRAND NEW KAE relay. Also fits late 107 380SL and 560SL.
Looking for a solution to solve your 114 115 116 123 or early 126 chassis power antenna problems? In my humble opinion the original power antennas on all 1985 and older Mercedes are justing getting too old to mess with anymore. I have tried myself to rebuild them only to have them fail again in another area. You can send them out for professional overhaul but that is expensive. Unless every electrical and mechanical part inside is replaced problems may return. New original exact replacements are no longer available.
This is my favorite set of tweezers for helping to hold small parts in place for assembly. The wide ones are particularly helpful when a second hand is needed to hold a small bolt or screw in place. Comes with seven different tweezers as shown. Good for car work. Not good for pulling hair!

Not only does this set include almost 100 pieces but it includes metric sized allen (hex) bits and even an attachment to remove a wing nut! How cool is that? Most kits don't contain metric sizes. If you want Bosch here is a fantastic price on a set of five pencil style glow plugs! These are the Bosch Duraterm glow plugs. These also work on 1980 to 1983 240D (you will just have a spare plug!) These will NOT work on 1979 and older non turbo diesel engines. These plugs are designed to handle more heat for longer periods of time without burning out (similar to our Monark design)

Brand new Genuine OEM turbo diesel kickdown switch. Fits 123 turbos from 1982-1985 and 126 turbos from 1981-1985. This switch is located under your accelerator pedal, and it tells the transmission when to down shift. If the switch breaks it can stick in or on! If your turbo diesel is having a hard time shifting down or into 3rd or 4th gear definately inspect and or replace this switch.

New KAE fuel pump relay fits models listed above from 1986 to 1991. Failure of this relay is the number one cause of your engine quitting or not starting. Get under the rear of you car to hear your fuel pump run when turning on the key. It may only run for a short time and then shut off (that is normal). If it does not run at all it is either your fuel pump relay or a burned out fuel pump motor.
New Bosch distributor rotor fits models listed above from 1986 to 1991. Check yours now for heavy burn marks or arching.
