Works on all models from 1968 to 1995 that just the nylon shift linkage bushings located on the transmission shift arm and the shift control arm. This special tool will allow you to install new bushings in record time. On some 124 and 201 models you would normally have to remove the transmission shift arm due to limited space. But with this tool you can reach up into the transmission tunnel and squeeze the bushing right onto the arm. This is one clever tool. NO INSTRUCTIONS included. This must-have kit does not only have hard-to-find metric sizing, but the o-rings are made out of nitrile which holds up better to heat and is more resistant to oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, silicone and even water. Kit contains 30 different common METRIC sizes ranging from 2.8 mm ID to 47.7 mm ID.

Just being able to use one or two of these o rings in an emergency to solve a leak or prevent a trip to the hardware store will pay for the kit.  Just think of having 382!!!

Some of the most common transmission leaks on the early automatics come from the banjo bolts that connect the filler tube to the bottom of the pan and the two transmission coolers lines to the lower front transmission housing. When the aluminum washers get crushed no amount of tightening will stop of fluid from dripping... This kit contains two of the sealing rings for the transmission tube bolt and four for the two cooler line bolts.

When I was a kid working on old Ford street rods there was no such thing as nitrile gloves and to wear gloves then was considered sissy. Not so today. I would not even consider working on a car anymore without gloves. In fact my hands feel real naked without them. Experience has shown that one glove will not do the job in all cases. I have four types of gloves in my arsenal. Three of them are of the disposable type and one is a more permanent working glove that I call the super glove.

If you have a leaking transmission seal it can be a real bear to get the old seals out without this special pry tool. This tool also works great for front crank seals as well.

I have used a LOT of different kinds of grease in my lifetime - but this is my favorite. It has a high molybdenum and grahite content and does not dry out over time. It also has a great resistance to water and moisture deterioration. Just the right consistency - not too thick so it can get into tight places - not too thin so it stays in place.

On the body I use it in door check straps, window gears and mechanisms, seat tracks, door latch assemblies, sunroof cables and gears, hood and trunk hinges and any other metal to metal wear location. On suspension and chassis I use it on wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rods, u-joints, backing plates and more.

This 14 oz can is usually more than enough to service most Mercedes Benz. A must have in your tool box!

These same clips are used on almost all Mercedes Benz Models from the late 1960s up into the 1990s. If you have lost or damaged one of your clips here is a chance to get replacements. Maybe good idea to have spares on hand. Sold in set of 2.

This removable threadlocker is probably the best that I have used. It has the best sealing cap and cures rapidly and reliably when confined between metal parts. Use it to lock threaded fasteners, nuts, bolts and screws from loosening. Extremely important in critical engine and suspension parts. This is the removable type (meaning that it can be easily removed with hand tools). Comes in small .20 Fl oz. bottle great for most small jobs.

If you are going to work on your diesel fuel injectors you are going to need a torque wrench. If you are going to tighten your alloy wheel lug bolts properly you should use a torque wrench. In fact if you do your own work you should have a 1/2 inch clicker torque wrench in your tool box. I know why you don't have one. They tend to be expensive for the limited amount you might use one. Well, now you can get a quality one for a very good price. This is a special offer and we only have a limited number in stock.

It comes with a nice molded plastic case and instructions. This wrench is 18 inches long for good hand torque and it is made in Taiwan. Much better quality than those made in China.

 

Long drive pin punches are very handy when working on your Benz. The smaller size in this set is particularly helpful when removing and replacing twin pin style brake pads. All steel. Made in India.

Mercedes use a lot of Metric Allen Head bolts especially on their engines. If you are going to work on them yourself one of the first things you will need is a good assortment. Start with a 3/8 inch drive socket set as shown. These are inexpensive but well made sockets from China - most common sizes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 mm. They can be cut and modified for special applications.
