This bulb is a single element bulb that is used in the brake light, rear turn signal and your rear back up lens. It's a very universal bulb. Fits mid 60s to 90s Mercedes.

Heat shrink tubing is very handing to have if you are doing any wire connections or splicing. This tubing can go over the splice or solder joint and when heat is applied from a heat gun it will shrink right down tight to the joint and protect it from shorts and corrosion.

FITS THE FOLLOWING: 110, 115, and 123 chassis, 1965 to 1979 4 cylinder diesel engines with series (looped style glow plugs installed. WARNING: Be sure to check that your glow plugs have not been changed to the parallel (pencil) fast glow type.

Glow plugs do not last forever. I have found they generally need to be replaced about every 2 to 3 years for peak performance. If your diesel starts hard when cold, or starts but runs rough for 30 to 60 seconds before smoothing out, or the glow dash light flashes right after startup, then it may be time to replace the glow plugs. They should be replaced in sets unless you have the odd failure of just one fairly new plug.

This is my favorite set of tweezers for helping to hold small parts in place for assembly. The wide ones are particularly helpful when a second hand is needed to hold a small bolt or screw in place. Comes with seven different tweezers as shown. Good for car work. Not good for pulling hair!

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to test the electrical circuits on your Mercedes here is a good option. Fits the Following, All 110 chassis 190D 200D diesel 1961 to 1967. All 115 220D and 240D 1968 to 1976 and all 123 240D from 1977 to 1979 with series glow plugs. SVO / WVO applicable. Fits the following, All 111, 108 and 109 chassis from late 1969 to 1973 with this style dome light. This is a common failure item and easy to change yourself. If you have a 111 finback sedan from the early to mid 1960s this may be something you need. Many of these cars have corroded tail light sockets making it very hard to get your tail lights to work all the time.

Fits the following, All Ponton, 110, 111, 112, 113, 108, 109, 114 and 115 chassis prior to 1973 with point ignition. I believe that installing the Crane Electronic Ignition in your pre 1973 Mercedes Benz is absolutely the best upgrade you can make to your old classic. Elimination of the contact breaker points is the key to this modification. In its place Crane uses a optical trigger with a light beam that is broken by a rotor that has small slits in it. There are no points to burn, wobble, corrode or adjust. Along with the optical trigger an electronic ignition module is used to boost the intensity of the spark across the sparkplug electrode. FITS All 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113 chassis that use the little short fuse in one or two holders. Have you been having electrical problems in your older chassis Mercedes? Have you been trying to find a source for that little short fat 25 amp fuse? Maybe you have taken the fuse box cover off and wiggled a few fuses and it has solved the problem for a while. You probably noticed corossion on the tips of the old aluminum fuses. Who ever designed these old fuses did not get a good education in dissimilar metal corrosion. You do not put aluminum up next to copper - add in moisture and heat and expect to not have corrosion problems.
